Exciting news! Our veterinary team has confirmed that Reina is expecting her first kitten - a boy! - any day now. The ultrasound showed a healthy, active kitten estimated at 250 grams. Mom and baby are both doing great. We expect the little one to arrive by mid-week!

Meet the Parents

Reina (Mom)

Rescued in 2018 from an illegal wildlife trafficking operation. Now thriving in her 5,000 sq ft habitat alongside fellow serval Goya. Known for her playful personality and incredible jumping ability.

Benji (Dad)

Born in 2021, Benji came to Safe Haven from Oregon when his owner relocated. A curious and gentle 4-year-old with striking spotted markings.

  • Serval kittens weigh just 200\u2013300 grams at birth \u2014 about the size of a large apple
  • Their oversized ears develop before the rest of their body
  • Servals have the longest legs relative to body size of any cat

Minimum increment: $100. The winning bidder\u2019s chosen name will be the official name of Reina & Benji\u2019s kitten. Winner also receives a framed photo, adoption certificate, and a private meet-and-greet once the kitten is 8 weeks old.
